Oak Haven Resort & Spa

My family has been visiting Oak Haven since the early 2000s and every experience is nothing short of wonderful. This is a wonderful place to call home when we’re away. The key factor that makes Oak Haven different is the staff and when we’ve had minor issues, they’ve always been help and ready to serve. I got to take my first solo trip here with my husband this past Christmas and cannot wait to return again.

Beautiful cabins! Great service! We locked ourselves out of our bathroom (after regular hours), called the service # and someone was there in less than 10 minutes. Convenient to Pigeon Forge and Seiverville. Beautiful mountain views. Highly recommend!

This was meant to be a celebratory trip to take my father after he completed his chemotherapy treatments. Tragically, he passed away before we could go together. I decided to still take my mother, and I am so grateful that I did. The resort itself is truly amazing—the facilities are pristine, and the setting is breathtaking.

Totally forgot to leave a review of our stay back in September. My husband and I stayed at cabin 59 back in September for our honeymoon, we drove straight down from Ohio. Our cabin was incredible! Incredible view, nice and relaxing, clean, felt like home and the hot tub was incredibly clean. It was nice and relaxing to sit in the hammock in the mornings, and relax in the hot tub at night. We will be back, hopefully this year!! Maybe on our 1 year anniversary.

I don’t always review places that are great to stay in. But I do review places that are aspiring to be greater than they already are with their continued exceptional customer service. This place was a very comfortable and a welcoming stay. We did have an issue, which was rectified by senior management of the resort. But I’d pick this place over any airbnb any day of the week for that area. People are great, you’ll be taken care off.

For the last 7 years my wife and I look forward to our annual R&R retreat at Oak Haven. We appreciate the service and professionalism of the staff. We absolutely appreciate the cabins. We connected with Managing Partner Chuck McCarter, and found him to be a Christian man authentically concerned about his customers. The location is secluded enough for us to have peace from noise and traffic distractions, but close enough to drive into the city for a meal or shopping if we choose. The first time we came to Oak Haven we brought multiple changes of clothes. But the cabins have washer & dryers; so now we pack light on the clothes which reduces "vacation prep" stresses. We are partial to Cabin 21! My wife loves the thought placed into every aspect of the decorations and furnishings. I would choose Oak Haven over a hotel room every time. This is definitely a "secluded" home away from home for us.

Myself and my wife stayed in cabin 73 a wonderful 3 bedroom cabin, we go every year to Oakhaven for my birthday. This year on my birthday I had a severe allergic reaction and had to call 911 for help, low and behold who stops in while the paramedics are assisting me but none other than Chuck McCarter the managing partner of Oakhaven. Chuck went above and beyond and drove myself and my wife to the ER and waited while I was being treated and drove us back. I can not say enough good things about chuck and all of Oakhaven staff who made us feel like family! Thank you so much Chuck.

Thank you Oak Haven Resort & Spa for hosting us in Cabin 22. Even through Winter Storm Gianna 2026 we felt safe, warm and secure. Your men plowing and salting the roads around the clock was a blessing. Not only were they kind they went so far as to blow the snow off our car in the morning and shovel the walkway. On top of that they (Riley and his buddy) even brought us back some biscuit sandwiches in the morning. The staff was awesome! From check in, to watching Angel use a kitchen spatula to get the snow off her car in order to not be late to work…what dedication! Lily with her sound advice regarding the roads and Erica with our check out. Our cabin was gorgeous in and out and super clean. The entire resort was breathtaking with spectacular views and the spa was so cozy. After reading other comments from folks in Airbnb’s and other cabins complaining how the roads were not salted, how they were being pressured to leave, and no plowing of any sort it made us see how incredibly lucky we were to have stayed at Oak Haven Resort & Spa.
